For the church to be effective in is mission, we need people and resources. That comes from all of us who are committed to this place.
This is an opportunity for you to consider where and what it is God wants you to commit to. In other words, how we manage our stewardship. It is part of our commitment not to Opawa Baptist Church , but to God.
If God is calling you to this church fellowship, then your priority in stewardship is to give to the body you are called to. Please remember, whatever commitment you make is between you and God. No one, other than yourself, needs to know or hold you to it.
this commitment does not have to be big. If you struggle with making a regular commitment, start small. There is no law to force you to give a certain amount or effort. Though the Bible makes it clear that giving to God your first fruits is a priority, along with making every effort to making that happen. How much that may be, is up to you.
Don’t be overwhelmed by how much. its the commitment that counts.

Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? 2 Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose. 3 Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. 4 Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.
