Planning is underway...

Planning is underway for our Pentecost Festival, to be held over Queens Birthday weekend.

This Festival will contain input, creative response, music, coffee.

Seminars may include: storytelling, spirituality of new life (prayers and rituals in relation to new babies), music composition, and more!

An exciting addition this year is the opportunity to get inside the minds of Peter and Joyce Majendie, the creative-force behind An Easter Journey and A Christmas Journey, major large scale art installations that allow reflection on the stories of Easter and Christmas.

Peter and Joyce will be providing input designed to help people understand the process of creating public art, from inspiration to installation. As part of it they will (with the involvement of course-participants) create such an installation which will be utilised in worship experiences over the weekend.

Plan to be in Christchurch for Queens Birthday Weekend (2-4 June)!

Can't make it? We will be producing a DVD of the creative process that will resource others into similar projects within their own contexts.

Watch this space for more!
