warmth

It's a bit cold at the moment and Opawa is a difficult church to heat. In a random conversation (one of these free-wheeling ones that shoots the breeze but can hit "gold") one of the church staff suggested a wood burner. Imagine this at the front of the church?

Yeah, I could imagine something like that. A pellet fire, perhaps, since wood burners are being phased out.

Pellet/gas/diesel... we don't want to have to feed it in the middle of the service! :)

.... and at the back and maybe both sides, warm burners are brilliant people gatherers and therefore conversation starters. Only question is are you thinking before or after the coffee maker? I suggest before :-)
